“It was great experience for our short stay. Owner was very nice, and showed us different horse types, and that was great fun for all of us, especially for kids. We cooked our brunch, enjoyed it with the sunshine, enchanted in this picturesque moment.”
“Paul & Sharon are just the loveliest people, and so accommodating! Their property is so beautiful and so much to see, plus the animals are all so friendly from the smallest little dog to the horses! If you are thinking about staying at Fernances Creek Farm, don’t think twice! It has everything for a perfect weekend away. Couldn’t recommend it enough! We will be back for sure.”
“We have stayed at many airbnb places in many countries but Paul’s place was the best place by far. We feel lucky to have come across his place and would recommend to anyone that needs a place to stay when going for a trip nearby e.g. Hunter Valley. Thanks again Paul for the great hospitality and the fantastic wine!”
“Gorgeous location with bush, farm and vineyard views. Very quiet. The facilities are basic but very comfortable, and everything we needed was there. Lovely comfortable beds (including the ones in the tent). Paul was ready with the gate open to greet us, even though it was late. Wonderful friendly hospitality from everyone working on the property. We weren’t even looking for a farmstay, but it was much more relaxing than a motel! The woodstove was lovely – on a cold night you would really need it.”
“We had a Pony Club camp there last weekend and it was a fabulous time. The hosts were terrific too. Even though the weather wasn’t exactly as we ordered, the grounds held up very well to the occasional heavy showers, allowing the cross country jumping to safely continue. There was a good range of XC jumps spread over a reasonable size area. Plenty of room for show jumping with a good size warm up area. The club house was very good with good facilities, providing all the things required such as fridges, oven, cooktop, toaster, plenty of tables and chairs, even a toilet and shower.
We camped in a paddock next to the creek, with most people in tents and some staying in their floats. Some yards were available for the horses and some made their own temporary yards. We took our bicycles because other places we had been had things spread out over such a large area, but we did not have any need for them this time. The camping, club house, show jumping and XC were all pretty close and an easy comfortable walk. Definitely recommended.”
