The Christmas Ride Party is just around the corner, and it’s hard to believe we’re already approaching the end of 2024! This annual event promises to be an exciting gathering for riders of all levels, as well as their non-riding friends and family. It’s not only a fantastic opportunity to hone your skills and prepare for upcoming competitions, but it also serves as a wonderful way to introduce new riders and horses to the equestrian community.

The grounds are looking absolutely fabulous this year, with the installation of 13 new jumps, bringing our total to over 80! This diverse selection of jumps means that riders can choose from a variety of course options tailored to their skill levels. Whether you’re just starting out with the basics, such as logs on the ground, or looking to tackle more advanced challenges in the 95-104 cm range, there’s something for everyone. The spacious layout also allows for either a full gallop through the entire course or a more measured pace for focused training sessions. Our newest brush jumps have quickly gained popularity, and we’re excited to announce that more additions are in the pipeline for next year!

Participants can decide to enter for one day or both days of the event, which makes it flexible for everyone’s schedule. Riders will be treated to a gourmet lunch, providing a perfect opportunity to relax and refuel. Spectators are also welcome to order a lunch under the options provided, ensuring that everyone can enjoy a delicious meal together.

If you’re planning to camp, don’t forget to book your yard or camping spot in advance. This will not only provide you with a comfortable camping setup and a designated horse yard but also grant you access to the Clubhouse facilities. Here, you’ll find showers, toilets, barbecue facilities, and a chill-out area to unwind after a day of riding. It’s a great chance to socialize and connect with fellow riders, so don’t forget to bring a cooler, as our fridges will be stocked full. We also offer complimentary tea and coffee throughout the event, which is perfect for those early morning starts!

For those who enjoy a cozy evening, we will be hosting a campfire if the weather permits.  The homemade lunch will be a highlight, allowing family, friends, and coaches to catch up and enjoy each other’s company. And remember, it’s a BYOB (Bring Your Own Beverage) event, so feel free to bring along your favorite drinks to share.

As the day winds down, we’ll offer a campfire dinner in the clubhouse, making it a perfect way to end the day on a high note. For those looking for a bit of variety, there are also options to head to Laguna on Friday night and Wollombi on Saturday night, both of which promise their own unique experiences. Just remember, it’s BYOB at the farm too!

Whether you’re a seasoned rider or a newcomer, this event is the perfect way to celebrate the season, improve your skills, and make lasting memories with friends and family. We can’t wait to see you there!
